Cathedral & the Belfry
Begin where the city began — neoclassical columns against the river of cobbles.
A visual language for LoveVilnius — drawn from Baltic amber, forest pine, and the geometry of Lithuanian folk weaving. Warm, grounded, and unmistakably ours.
A deep pine ground lets amber glow like sunlight through resin. Roles come first: pine neutrals carry the surfaces, amber leads, and folk red, meadow and Baltic blue support — never shout.
A high-contrast optical serif for voice, a grotesque sans for clarity, a mono for the technical undertone. One finite scale; italics carry the warmth.
A 4-point base, stepped nonlinearly, keeps vertical rhythm honest. Generous air around the serif voice; tighter clusters for data.
Sharp 2px corners on actions, soft radii on content. One amber primary leads; rust is the solid secondary; ghost stays the quiet path. Emphasis is never duplicated.
Begin where the city began — neoclassical columns against the river of cobbles.
Candlelit vaults, dark beer, and šaltibarščiai the colour of a Baltic sunset.
Climb above the rooftops to catch the resin-gold light pour over the basilicas.
Pin a walk, a tasting or a viewpoint and it will gather here — ready for the morning you arrive.
Single-weight 1.6px strokes echo folk woodcut. Geometric, rounded joins, amber on linen — shown near their intended size.
Inputs glow amber on focus. Quiet by default, clear on intent — the same restraint as the city itself.
